My wife and I recently concluded a yearlong “look” for a weekend home we can ultimately retire to on Canyon Lake.
While Dianne and I have moved our Houston “home” several times in the 20+ years we have been married, this particular experience was the most pleasant and enjoyable of the lot.
Amy and her team began working with us nearly 1 year ago. Initially we were hunting for investment property. Eventually that turned into a look for a “weekend fixer upper”. Ultimately we finalized on a “purported by the seller” ready to move in home on the lake in a great neighborhood.
While Amy and her team had been helping us all along for that year, once we settled on a final property is where “the Boehm team” really shined.
Because we live over 3 hours away they organized all the necessary inspectors we needed and some we requested beyond the typical. Once all the reports were in Amy herself negotiated with the sellers to get what we wanted done and even pushed for and accomplished things we didn’t consider bringing up to make our purchase all it could be.
I strongly recommend if you are considering real estate in around the area that you meet and work with Amy and her team.
Because of how hard Amy worked for us I (somewhat jokingly) asked her to consider a position in the project management group I work for in Houston if she ever contemplated another line of work.

We received Amy’s name with a referral and was told she is the best in the area. We needed an agent that was going to sell the house for the maximum possible as quickly as possible. Since we were over 2000 miles away (outside Seattle, Wa) and would not be there, we needed someone we could depend on 100% to do the best for us. She kept in communication with us almost on a daily basis and always let us know what the plan of attack was. After the renter had moved out Amy immediately gained access into the home, accessed what needed to be done to get it on the market and sell it for our asking price. It was determined the first step was to bring in a stager. The stager brought in her team and they cleaned, painted, repaired, replaced and upgraded the house for us in a matter of days. Amy then priced the house perfectly and we had an offer within 48 hours on the MLS. After everything was said and done we sold it for exactly what we anticipated selling it for.
Having worked in such an expedient and professional manner from across half of the country, I can only imagine the ease it would be to work with her in person.
We ourselves are looking at relocating back to Texas after our kids graduate high school up here in the northwest. Amy and her team will be the first and only agent we will see. We cannot thank her enough.

We selected the Boehm team as the selling agent for our San Antonio home. We found them to be very prompt in returning our phone calls and emails, and in keeping appointments with us. Amy very quickly made the home visit to arrange the listing details and had the listing on MLS within a couple of days. We agreed to place the home on the market the weekend before Thanksgiving. It was pretty scary given the time of the year and the economy, but we had our first offer within two days. We owe a great deal of that to the professional marketing of the home by Amy, including the fliers outside and the binder left inside with the virtual tour CD, not to mention the sound advice on the pricing. After accepting the offer she worked diligently to get the best price possible. We always felt she was truly looking out for us. They provide an outstanding service for their clients.
